With the growing number of adolescents using social media we are seeing an increase in youth mental health issues. Mental illness in children and adolescents continue to rise as our youth become hooked on Snapchat, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, and other social media platforms. Anxiety and depression tend to be leaders in mental health issues with adolescents particularly for those using social media on a regular basis. Cyberbullying is another issue we continue to see adolescents affected by.
