Dr. Gustavo Sosa
Dr. Sosa was born and raised in Cali-Colombia. He obtained his medical degree at Universidad Libre in Cali-Colombia. He later moved to the United States where he completed his residency in family practice at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois.
Dr. Sosa is an established and highly skilled physician with experience in multiple clinical settings such as hospital’s ER, urgent care and primary care facilities. He has earned numerous accolades and is recognized in the Central Florida area for his quality of service and patient centered care.
His experience in the different medical fields has led him to gain a broad range of medical knowledge and expertise. Right now, he is the Medical Director of Bright Care Medical Group, LLC and he is very excited to have this amazing opportunity to grow his own practice with the Clermont Community. He is currently accepting new patients and looking forward to providing them with the best care and creating a successful practice.
Dr. Sosa is very passionate about medicine and it reflects in the outstanding service he provides to his patients. He believes in the importance of integrating the mind, body and spirit in order to achieve the best goals for them. His passion is driven by the bonds he builds with his patients over the course of their lives and the enjoyment he holds in keeping them healthy and well.

Dr. Amarilis Colon Berrios is a licensed Florida and Puerto Rico Psychologist with 15 years of experience. She is trained in EMDR and Somatic Experience Skills. She has been working with patients struggling with anxiety, depression, addictions, trauma and other mental health disorders. She specializes in individualized work and treatment plans bases on a patient’s specific needs from trauma and culturally sensitive perspective. Dr. Colon Berrios has multicultural background experience and believes in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity and compassion. She is proficient in English and Spanish.

Angel Rodriguez came to Florida with his wife and two boys in the year 2015 from Puerto Rico, where he was born and raised. He graduated from Ponce Paramedical College as Paramedic in 2001. His passion and dedication to helping those in need began. From 2001 through 2015 Angel was working as a Paramedic in the 911 emergency system in Puerto Rico, gaining experience and knowledge.
One of his goals was to become certified as an instructor of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and he was able to carry it out in 2017 and since then he has trained others through Life Saving Training. Angel likes being able to teach others how they can save lives.
Through a job opportunity at the Orlando Health South Lake hospital, Angel gained more experience in the cardiac unit area and in the imaging department, where he was able to obtain other types of knowledge, attending and helping patients. Angel’s approach is to serve others using his abilities and dedication.
Dr. Sosa and his team invited Angel to join them at Bright Care Medical Group, giving him the opportunity to be blessed by being part of this great family where quality is centered on patient care.

Elizabeth was born and raised in NYC. She graduated from Lehman College with a medical billing degree and she is currently working on a public policy degree and a certification in Physician Practice Management.
She is the proud mother of 3 exceptional children. Elizabeth moved to Florida in 2020 to be closer to her first born and grandchild. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and French.
Elizabeth has always believed in giving back to the community and educating women which is the reason she chose a career in healthcare. She spends her vacation time traveling to West African villages and donating medical and school supplies to women and children.
Elizabeth is excited to be a part of Bright Care Medical Group and is looking forward to helping the group be very successful.
