On-Site Laboratory
We are happy to offer our on-site laboratory services to our patients. Our patients can have blood work collected in either of our Clermont primary care offices. We save you time so you don’t have to make an appointment at an outside lab such as Labcorp or Quest Diagnostics.
Our nursing staff is experienced in performing blood draws for blood glucose testing, complete blood count (CBC), basic metabolic panel (BMP), A1C testing, blood clotting tests, thyroid stimulating tests (TST), enzyme marker test, lipoprotein panel and others. We can draw blood to check for blood sugar, cholesterol, urea and electrolytes, thyroid issues, troponin, full blood count (FBC), International Normalised Ratio (INR), and B-type Natriuretic Peptide (BNP). We can also offer rapid strep throat screening, urine analysis, STD testing, paternity testing, Pre-Natal DNA testing, COVID 19 testing, and drug testing for employment.
With two primary care offices in South Lake County we offer the best on-site laboratory services in Clermont, Florida. We are available Monday through Friday from 8am – 5pm for lab work.

Why choose your primary care doctor's office for your laboratory services?
As your primary care provider we can help expedite your recovery process by performing your lab work and review the results all within our office. We can offer a tailored treatment plan immediately, while potentially saving you time from having to make a separate appointment at an outside laboratory, then making a follow-up appointment with Dr. Sosa to review your lab results.
Not every visit will result in lab testing. We typically recommend lab work for disease diagnosis, screenings, monitoring the course of a disease, and a check of your overall health on an annual or case by case basis. We realize many patients are not fond of having their blood drawn, however, a blood test is extremely important as it can reveal how well your organs such as your kidneys, liver, heart and thyroid are working. A blood test can also diagnose bleeding or clotting disorders as well as cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and HIV/AIDS. Blood tests are also used to find out if your recommended medications are actually working to improve your ailment(s).
We invite you to talk with us and consider our on-site laboratory services on your next visit. Our clinical team is dedicated to our patients and improving their health. For more information or to schedule your lab work please contact our office at 352-708-3021.
