Angel Rodriguez
Medical Assistant
I came to Florida with my wife and my two boys in the year 2015 from Puerto Rico, where I was born and raised. I graduated from Ponce Paramedical College as Paramedic in 2001. My passion and dedication to helping those in need began. From 2001 through 2015 I was working as a Paramedic in the 911 emergency system in Puerto Rico, gaining experience and knowledge.
One of my goals was to become certified as an instructor of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), and I was able to carry it out in 2017 and since then I have trained others through Life Saving Training, I like being able to teach others how they can save lives.
Through a job opportunity at the Orlando Health South Lake hospital, I gained more experience in the cardiac unit area and in the imaging department, where I was able to obtain other types of knowledge, attending and helping patients. My approach is to serve others using my abilities and dedication.
Currently, Dr. Sosa and his work team opened the doors for me at Bright Care Medical Group, giving me the opportunity to be blessed by being part of this great family where quality is centered on patient care.

My name is Keila Vela, and for as long as I can remember, my passion has always been to work in the medical field. I have always wanted to be that helping hand for others, and I am someone with an open mind who is willing to learn new things every day.
Here at Bright Care Medical, I work as a medical assistant helping prepare the patients to see Dr. Sosa, as well as providing help up front answering the patient’s calls. I am thankful for the opportunity they have given me to be able to learn and grow both in my profession and on a personal level.
Jennifer Garcia
Practice Manager Assistant
After working in the food service industry for a couple of years. I decided to take a leap of faith and apply for the position of Front Desk at Bright Care Medical Group. Since my time here at Bright Care, my knowledge has expanded thanks to the help of our practice manager, Rosa, and Dr. Sosa. Both have taught me many things to help me grow in this field.
My favorite thing about working at Bright Care is being able to get to know our patients and providing them with excellent care. As a full-time student at the University of Central Florida, I spend most of my time studying for my classes. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and teaching in the kid’s ministry at my church.

Also, I am an author of children’s books; “Mr. J. Nope’ is my first book, published back in 2021.
My goal in life is to give the best of myself to others. When I am not working, I serve as a worship leader with a team of 17 members. Also, I enjoy going jet-ski with my husband and friends and to the shooting range.
My dream bucket list is to fly in a hot air balloon over Colorado or Arizona state.
